Committed to Finding the Cause
There are multiple factors why you develop symptoms: fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, food sensitivities, digestion problems, and toxicities. These among many other factors may be creating a toxic load on your health. Our focus is helping people with difficult, chronic health problems. Using our functional approach to these chronic health issues we have had many patients experience full remission of symptoms by addressing the triggers that are causing the symptoms, rather than the symptoms. We are committed to finding the cause.
What to Expect Initial Visit and Evaluation
During your first visit you will spend an hour with Dr Thomas. During this visit we will discuss your problem and start to uncovering possible triggers that may be leading to your symptoms. Next, Dr Thomas may perform a detailed functional examination include a Field Control Therapy screening in order to determine what specific metabolic laboratory tests may be needed to uncover the possible triggers causing your health issues. Dr Thomas will also review any prior lab work or genetic testing that you have had done.
On this visit Dr Thomas will review the test results from your first visit, including the findings from a functional examination and Field Control Therapy assessment, reviewing previous lab work performed, genetic methylation and detox reports, and results from any labs ordered prior to the second visit. At this time Dr Thomas will discuss if he is able to take you on as a patient, any additional tests that need to be performed, and well as estimated cost of your specific recovery program. Many patients leave this visit and will begin a short detoxification program involving specific dietary restrictions along with specific nutritional support determined from lab and genetic tests.
It is difficult to truly determine how long a patient will need to work with Dr Thomas. Most patients need to work with Dr Thomas for a few months while difficult cases can take much longer. Metabolic lab and genetic testing can determine how long it is going to take to give you your life back. Typical follow up visit frequency ranges from every 2-8 weeks.
Many patients will drive 2 or more hours each way to consult with Dr Thomas. With technology, Dr Thomas offers distance care programs allowing patients to minimize or eliminate travel frequency to Dr Thomas' office. Please call to see if you qualify for distance care, this may need to be determined after an initial consultation and examination.
